Harvesting Rice Now Around Village

オーベルジュ・フジイフェルミエのある村では、稲刈りがたけなわです。

 

村の裏山の間から湧き出る清水が川となって田に注ぎ込みます。

 

昼夜の気温差が大きい村はコメの味も絶品!

 

フジイフェルミエの朝食にお出ししているご飯はこのコメ-コシヒカリです。

 

稲刈りが終わると秋は一気に深まって行きます。

 

Around the village where Auberge Fujii Fermier is located, harvesting rice is now on the high season.

Among the mountain valleys behind my village gushes free the clear water, and pours into the rice fields.

Large swings between daytime and nighttime temperatures here make the taste of the rice even more delicious!

This rice - Koshihikari, one of the most popular kind of rice in Japan - is served for breakfast at my auberge.
As soon as the harvesting is over, the autumn deepens in a flash.
